This week is shaping up to be one of the most impressive showings of menswear in a very long time. I think that at this moment, menswear is almost as important (if not more than) as womenswear to the fashion industry. With that said; it seems that designers are pulling out all of the stops this season to get their collections off of the runway and into people's closets.
The result: intensely beautiful clothes that I get to salivate over. Here's a line-up of my top picks from the day.
John Richmond Fall-Winter 2011
Clean, youthful, expensive looking....you can't go wrong! Once again another monochromatic look from Milan, but the feathery fur collar takes this coat to a whole other level.
My favorite look from Marni's menswear presentation. I definitely need to start tying things around my waist; it creates an interesting look.
Sure, this collection may have been austere and expensive looking, therefore making it inaccessible; but a guy can still dream right? This textured leather coat is striking, and with different styling, I can definitely see it in a great editorial context.
With every collection, Etro seems to grow on me a little bit more and more. I'm not really a huge fan of men in prints (which is sort of a specialty for this particular house) so it's great to see that the brand doesn't rely solely on that idea. This stunning little canvas jacket and conservative trouser combination is surprisingly marketable and, like every good runway look; I'm getting a little bit more excited every time I look at it.
Evidently, this is the season of fur. Never before have I seen so many men sporting exotic pelts. If this trend eventually finds it's way out of the runways and into the streets, I will never ask for anything again. Gucci, of course, offered the best selection of furs today. It was heart-wrenching editing down Frida Giannini's creations to fit my post (believe me; I have thirteen other alternate looks on my desktop that didn't make the cut) but these two coats are definitely going to bring in heaps of cash if they go into production.
My favorite look of the day! I'm obsessively sending Ms. Giannini mental pleas to courier this entire outfit to me immediately!
Alexander McQueen Fall-Winter 2011

Sarah Burton's sophomore menswear presentation since she took over the reigns at Alexander McQueen was definitely one of the most anticipated shows of the season. From an editorial standpoint; I think that she definitely delivered. Last season I was disappointed by her showing, but this season; I want everything! She really is a smart designer and her clothes look like they don't even belong on this planet. Can you say: Godsend?
Seeing as how PR teams aren't willing to fly me out to Milan at the moment, Style.com is my lifeblood. If you want to see the rest of Milan's offerings please go visit!
After the last three days of witnessing these fantastic collections, I think I'm having more fun with Milan than I usually have with Paris, but; we'll see what happens when those collections roll out!
Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!

How fashionable men can be? The textured leather coat is remarkable! I think it would be nicer if it was paired with silver tie to add an accent in the overall look.

Yes, shaping up do help to have that youthful looks. And aside from that, outfit is also a powerful tool in being in that line. Most of the people now want to maintain their youth even just by their appearances and they try everything to look younger.

Clothing really helps maintain a youthful image. Sometimes, working out and maintaining a flawless skin are not enough to achieve a youthful aura. It is also depends on how we carry ourselves and how we match use trendy outfits.
