I had the most amazing day today!
This morning I went to a book signing for the new Marc Jacob's book "The Men + Women of Marc Jacobs" at the Marc by Marc Jacobs store on Melrose. As an awesome gift to the first 100 fans who visited the store; we each received a free copy of the book and we all got signatures from people who's photos were in the book.
Most important of all; Robert Duffy was there signing books!!! For those of you who don't know who Robert Duffy is; he is President of Marc Jacob's Inc. I am seriously a huge fan of him and Mr. Jacobs. Of course when it was my turn to talk to him I was so nervous that I just kind of babbled and acted like an idiot. I was so excited to meet Mr. Duffy and he was really nice; I really wish I wasn't such a mess! It breaks my heart how energetic and friendly everyone was. I've wanted to work with Marc Jacobs ever since I first started designing clothes. It's my ultimate dream to be part of the Marc Jacobs family.
Of course, since I was near Santa Monica; I had to stop by Sprinkles Cupcakes and pick up some deliciousness.
To die for!
I need to break in tonight and steal this display for my room....
As if by some sort of strange coincidence, I got my new Marc Jacobs suede moccasin boots in the mail today via Oki-Ni.
So Amazing!
I love everything Marc Jacob's!
Of course I can't wear them today because I instantly sprayed them with suede protector as soon as I pulled them out of the box.
Oh me, oh my what an awesome day! Marc by Marc Jacobs store, free book, meeting Robert Duffy, Sprinkles, new Marc Jacobs boots....oh the magnificence of it all!
Just a quick note; all proceeds from the book's sales go towards Breast Cancer Research so go pick up a copy! You'll be doing a good thing :D!
